Looking for a nice cozy café in Zurich? Try Café Schober.

It was founded in 1845 and until today, the owners kept the charme of past times in the patisserie shop right at the entrance and the seated café area on various levels of the historic building. In summer, the terrace is the right place to soak up the sun and watch people walking by. In winter, the Christmas decoration in the interior gives you the cozy Christmas feeling that you need on a Sunday afteroon, while enjoying a piece of cake and a hot chocolate.
The tables are small and the interior is very narrow. There may be waiting lines, but if you come in the morning or if you are no more than two people, waiting time will not be long. I am not a patient person when it comes to waiting lines, but even I find this acceptable.

Café Schober is situated in the old town of Zurich. It is not far from the Frauenmünster Church and you will pass by when you stroll through Niederdorf. It is surrounded by nice shops and a great place to stop by on your Zurich shopping tour.
Although I like Café Sprüngli on Paradeplatz a lot, the location of Café Schober is much nicer and the interior is more charming compared to Sprüngli. Both cafés serve the same high quality cakes and hot chocolote.
