Between May 5 and November 5, art lovers should pay a visit to Bad Ragaz, a small but beautiful town in Eastern Switzerland. Every three years, Bad Ragaz hosts one of the largest international sculpture exhibitions. This renowned art event takes place for the 7th time. The exhibition area even stretches into the neighboring city Vaduz in Liechtenstein.
Under the motto “Great ART! More haste, less speed – take it slow.” visitors may discover a large selection of international art.

Something exciting to discover at every corner of the city. Take a stroll around the beautiful parks or climb the mountain to take a look at the gigantic lighthouse towering over the city.

We went to see the exhibition last weekend. It was a sunny day and it was simply beautiful. So many things to see, so many new impressions. Some sculptures are rather abstract, a few are provocative, some are very pleasing on the eye and some are funny. Take the time to walk through the park, along the golf course and down to the little lake.

If you just happen to be in the area, don’t miss this event. If you are a true art lover, this is a place you must visit.
You can reach Bad Ragaz in about an hour from St. Gallen, and in about 1 hour 15 minutes from Zurich.
